Guidelines
We’re interested in publishing outstanding emerging writers. We welcome writing from anywhere on any subject. We have a special place in our hearts for material that deals with Sweden and experience related to Sweden.
We accept simultaneous submissions, but if your work is accepted elsewhere, please let us know at once.
Submissions should generally be no more than 2,000 words, though shorter is very welcome and longer is okay. No more than five poems at a time. We are not presently in a position to pay for publication.
We accept short fiction, short–shorts/flash fiction and creative non–fiction. We’re not interested in genre writing as such, but science fiction, fantasy, horror, and crime stories that in their creativity reach outside the expected framework are welcome. We’re interested in outstanding poetry of all kinds.
If your work has been published previously, include a credit line stating where. At Frostwriting, posting on blogs or online workshop does not count as previous publication.
We accept translations from Swedish to English. It is the translator’s responsibility to have secured written permission from the copyright holder for translation and publication. We need to know that this is done. The translation itself must of course be your own, and you need to send us the original text along with your translation.
Submit your work through our online form. If you have any problems during the submission process please contact us at .
