So, you think you can write?
by Helena Axelson Fisk
Well, so do we and we have thrown ourselves into the world of online literature to meet you. We want to be stimulated, provoked, moved and inspired, but try to keep it brief. 2000 is the magic number. Any more words than that and we might miss the conclusion.
This is Frostwriting’s second birth, and theme of the hour is “new beginnings.” We will publish worthwhile stories regardless of their subject matter, but being on theme will push you ahead in the competition. You can send us poetry, flash fiction, short stories or creative non–fiction; we’re omnivorous when it comes to texts. See our guidelines for more information.
Get busy. Submit.
Good luck!
Helena Axelson Fisk: editor-in-chief at Frostwriting. I see my position as an opportunity to be the fairy godmother (or wicked witch) of new-born texts.
The Middle East has been my home, source of inspiration and learning institute since 1991. By now, the calls to prayer soothe me, the sun turns me off and Arabic literature turns me on.
There are many ways you can support us: by submitting, by reading, by becoming member of the Frostwriting Society (only 200 SEK per year), and by spreading the word.
Let us know what you think! .
