Judit Kiss has been a nomad since childhood and a prose editor at Frostwriting for the past six years. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Oslo and a Master of Letters in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow.
In 2013, she shortlisted for the Bridport Prize. She is also the winner of the 2013 In Our Own Words competition and her work has been performed at the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow. Her novel in progress, DragonDreamers, was recently nominated for the Sceptre Prize for Emerging Writers.
She says, “I am interested in stories about cross-cultural exposure, subcultures, culture shocks, assimilation, roots and rootlessness. Above all else and regardless of the theme, I want to read the best story you have written so far.”
